Vintage world travel poster of the Italiane ski resort of Sestriere, Torino, Piedmont, Italy.
This vintage art deco retro travel poster features a woman sitting on the snow in the sun, taking her sweater off. You can see the resort and snowy mountains in the background and snow on the ground. The original illustration was drawn by Gino Boccasile probably around 1941 to promote tourism in the area, and it and it encapsulates the glamour of travel in times gone by.
The poster has been carefully, digitally restored by an artist to refresh the colours and to remove any major signs of wear and tear, retaining the vintage character of the piece.
