Vintage Italian travel art deco poster of Ischia, Italy in 1941 -1942
This vintage art deco, retro Italian travel poster encapsulates the glamour of travel in times gone by and features the Italian island of Ischia in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It lies in the Gulf of Naples and is the largest of the Phlegrean Islands. It is well know for its thermal waters. The illustration was originally by Giuseppe Riccobaldi Del Bava for ENIT, the Italian travel and tourism agency and it features the island of Ischia with a boat on the sea, there is a volcano in the background and a pine tree in the foreground.
